Reconversion of State Farm

Former state farm and its site has spatial parameters to became new meaningful element of the municipality Doubravník. The awarded competition design initiates minimal interventions to existing building and its compound aiming to enrich the site such meanings. In sequentially created park with biotop (natural pool) and multifuctional attic, besides public spaces (sitting stairs from street, lawns for lying, playground, courtyard behind the wall of former stalls, public toilets, new access to St. Anna Chapel or riverfronts) there are planned also semi-public and semi-private areas for local residents - doorstep with shared vestibules and winter garden, orchard, vegetable and flower beds. The competition design was awarded the third place in a public anonymous architectural competition. Thanks to the local activists, the attic was first time opened for public due exhibition of competition entries together with their presentations and accompanying program.
