The exhibition of the laureates of the 2024 Oscar Čepan Award on the barrier-free non-accessible floor of the Pistori Palace is an opportunity to exaggerate this problem of many publicly accessible historical buildings in the Old Town of Bratislava. In four exhibition rooms connected by an enfilade, a platform is set up from borrowed, often no longer used stage platforms, which are united by a white exhibition carpet. Together, they create a plinth for placing the artworks of the three exhibitors, which is differentiated by their different requirements and spatial context. This exhibition landscape allows for new experiences of the space, in which the goal is not only to walk through the exhibition, but also to freely reside in it (to sit down, to lay down...).
